We are currently recruiting ten senior cultural leaders to act as informal mentors to our 2017 Professional Fellowship cohort. The 10 Professional Fellows have all been offered the opportunity to be matched with an appropriate mentor from October 2017 – March 2018. This is an informal commitment on behalf of the mentor but would involve the following:

• Listen, discuss and show interest in the Fellow’s work and learning experiences
• Offer support, but also challenge the Fellow where appropriate, to reflect on things that haven’t gone as planned, providing practical advice if required
• Encourage Fellows to reflect on what they have learned, offering insight based on Mentor’s own experiences
• Introduction or referral of Fellow to useful contacts and/or Mentor networks as appropriate
